BACKGROUND: Chronic subdural hematoma is a common neurosurgical condition that is easy to manage, yet a recurrence rate of 6-30 % can cause devastating results. In this study risk factors are determined to correlate with surgical outcome. Use of AI tool in neurosurgery will improve outcomes. METHODS: Over 130 patients with CSDH were managed consecutively, and computerized volumetric CT SCAN brain analysis was performed and related to outcome in KNH, MP SHAH and The NAIROBI Hospital. Use of AI tool was introduced in treatment of CSDH. R software was used to statically analyze the results. RESULTS: 130 were managed at all the 3 Hospital from December 2024 to October 2025, and 89 fulfilled the inclusion criteria, of which the total recurrence rate was low despite being in a developing country.
